VVHC began discussions with Wirral Borough Council to develop a piece of land on a piece of land in Bidston that was once The Corsair Public House.
This site had previously been an undeveloped piece of land sitting on a busy access route through Bidston Village and onto Beechwood. The land still had the pub's foundations but was beginning to attract a number of fly tippers.
VVHC working with the Council, agreed a design, obtained planning and tendered for the construction of a 27 apartment scheme to house older residents needing ongoing support, and it was with much delight that development broke ground this summer 2018.
